I am getting very tired of the use of "corruption" through the election cycle. It is being used on people like Hillary Clinton and others. There is a distinct difference between stretching morals and corruption. For example, Hilary and Bill, agreed to "stretch" their morals to get elected. Nixon, Bush II, and the people who have hijacked this country were and still are"corrupt". Some local politicians are corrupt. People in congress, on the other hand are "whores".
Some people in state and city legislatures either have sold their souls or work for people who do, serve the seeds of corruption, but are not necessarily labeled as such.
When people are frustrated by the state of the economy, turn to using the word corruption, but they must be careful of what they are referring to. The most guilty people are those who go along with corruption, without taking a stand against it. Then they fall into the category, but are able to quickly dismiss the accusation.
The biggest purveyors of corruption by far are dumb people. Who take their piece of pie, and go about in a bloated state calling everyone else sissies while reaping the benefits the corruption likes to promote. Smart people will know right away where this is coming from. Dumb people will liken it to the mafia, and imagine that they are helping themselves.
The worst part it, the status quo macho sense that comes when corruption is prevalent. Not to say that women do not benefit from it as well. In fact many times they are the driving force. But, Football, Big Cats, Mob Pleasure, Gangs, and so forth are big staples for corruption. Underneath it all is a small-time criminal who happily reaps the benefits from the facade, I call these people "Brian" because they remind me of City Council Members of White Middle Class communities, who turn out being small time criminals. Not all these people are in cahoots with the people who have hijacked the country, but they are a similar element.
Then of course theirs the other side, where dark corners, and hideous creatures lurk. Usually this is tucked away somewhere, hard to find. Stumbling upon it by accident, can cause a person to panic, or run for cover. This is wrong. When stumbling upon Lizards, Beasts, or Giant Cowboys, it is always a good idea to grab a drink at the bar and soak in the ambiance. After all, one thing that corruption does bring is a show. These dark corners are entertaining because they are not trying to put on the show, the lifestyle has created an incessant show.
The hardest thing to do is putting things back into the bubble and going back to the way things used to be. The worst part about corruption is the feeling that those that do not support it are reactionary in some way. This perpetuates the ideology and with droves of dumb people supporting it makes for a difficult state to combat. It is however, real and prevalent and supported by the very people who unleashed it in the first place, circa post 9/11. The best way to fight is to be educated to it, and to resist it's temptations, especially those that make people tolerate more and more of it. In the end it is about the choices people make. If our society pushes back on making the right choices, we will be back on the right track of honesty and decency in our society and culture.
