A
Serious Discussion on Compromise
The final debate of 2015
recognized Trump is playing the game of the baser elements and winning, and
threw and curveball. CNN along with the Republican Party decided to bring Trump
closer to their internal fire, to first throw out some positivity, but second
to skirt the issues.
Trump probably does not
believe half the things he says, nor will he act on them. If he wins the
nomination he will work on building trust. The fact is that Politicians are no longer
just professional liars, kindly stated they cater to lying as a way of living,
surviving and thriving. Trump, is not that way, at least so far as most people
can see, but he is being included in the mix so the issues can be drowned. The question at hand is how policies can work
in favor of keeping issues at the forefront. Second is how can the outright scared-stiffness of our society be beaten back in our national
agenda, and society at large. The debate tried to ignore some issues and skirt
others. This was their curve ball.
Trump may be a trend or
he may be an old relic of what the presidency was meant to be. A successful
business man in his elder years wanting to give back to the country that has
been so kind to him. The trend however,
is that of showman, an unsilenced ego, a builder and owner, and a celebrity.
Time would cater, that is if things were good, for no one to be interested in
this election, so why not pretend that everything is ok.
Trump is a walking compromise, easily gobbling up the votes of people who have a record of voting against their best interest. He is not dependent on special interests. He is however, a person who has been corrupted by money power and wants more. The other politicians are
clawing back to the podium pretending to make themselves appear credible and
vote worthy, but then again there is the issue of time to deal with and they
never planned for Trump to be at such good footing as the primary starter gun fires.
The fact is that Trump is not an
intellectual politician or an operating governor. Bush on other hand comes from a family of
multiple governmental positions. Trump sits on an empire. The Government is not
an Empire, but it makes empires through its own demise and Trump is asserting
that he will try to undo what has been done. The experience of wheeling and dealing
inside the cogs of government, escaped him. The old days of government provided
means for business leaders to organize the townships, voice their opinions at
town hall meetings and represent the state and the nations, this was addressed
in the debate. Bigness, corruption, deception, have all contributed to this
changing. At the same time prosperity, standard of living, general acceptance
of freedoms and liberty as a non-negotiable trend have also blossomed, until recently that is.
Trump lost his fortune, then, with a few
million dollars took to playing the rich man’s game, the new one. This game of curiosity, about the system. This game of background checks, purchasing, depending on government bailouts, and deals with china.Whatever it
takes to claw yourself up to the top of this now global rich power base, if you have the stomache for it. The stomache to go against the tide of "not being corrupt". It is owner matter of fact now, a business interest. Those that study poitics. or read the papers shy away from this, all it needs is an iota of critica thought.. Trump
was rich, but power was only a small delight, want or perhaps needs, the
golden goose. He is promising to curb the evils through which he made his comback. He could
have lived the rest of his life in “relative” luxury, but he chose to claw his way back up and into the spotlight. This makes for a dangerous persona, similar to a crooked U.S. president of recent past.
The real questions are
not about Trump and his beliefs, they are of his appetites. That is a question of economics, or is it? The
show of politics has excluded younger generations on purpose politics was brushed to the side as boring, dull, not
worthy of young people’s attention. Economics on one side and religion on the
other was what was being spewed out, and not very well. This is where Trump
made his comeback, in a reality show and hospitality for the new wealthy, a
large portion of whom are strictly conservative. The policy made sure that new generation
would not have a clue, nor any interest in politics. The policy solidified
through cheap and tawdriness. Reality shows are a means for cheap entertainment,
and they are suffocating entertainment, yet the alternative is boring talk or
worse yet hateful boring talk stemming from the far right.
The country needs to
face the fact, that we were once infidels to the Muslims, and the cards have
been stacked for us to change. This is because, there is no going back, back there
to poverty, and somebody wealthier beyond the boundaries of imagination. Remember
the war in Iraq? The movies, the media, the whoring Politicians altogether engaging
to pinnacle of a cause which was meant only to sidetrack the real issue. The
issue that was at stake at the time, was is Radical Islam. The fear of
Radicalism coupled with the immense wealth coming from Oil was able to steer
the country off focus.
Radicalization is a
concept that sprouted half a century ago when the nation’s borders in the Middle
East were drawn by what might as well have been a comic strip animator. Suddenly in a place where no one thought of
value, oil was discovered. They then turned themselves on protecting themselves
partially through accelerating their religion.
I hesitate to speak negatively of the religious in this country. Religion
has always been a source, in the United States, especially the Southeastern
states, and they are all in some way better for it. The truth is however they assumed the role of
driving the Republican Party and took on an approach of unification or death. Guess where the money and the power came from,
faith possibly, but considering the sad state of affairs, faith has not served
them so well. Oil that is where the debate stops. It stops because the right
will not be questioned on event the thought of their foundations in religion,
while the left sweeps Political Correctness and has mounds under a rug.
This brings us back to the question of
economics. Remember the economic war
with China? Trump is betting a significant part of his foreign policy agenda on
this one issue. The trains cannot move fast enough out of the Pacific Hub to take
all the products that we allowed to slip away from us.
Global warming was not
mentioned. The hot dog eating singular economic focus is to make sure that our
tanks do not smell like French Fries, as they roll through the Middle East.
Remember those conversations? No one speaks that way anymore. Why? That would
jog up too many memories and lead to infidel thinking.
Energy is a central concern
for future generations comfort and survival, just like good insulation.
Regulating the heat is just as important as keeping the Vacuum of Space out.
Will China build us a giant air conditioner? The important issues need to be
addressed in a manner that is not skirting. The Media cannot dance around
important issues, like Veterans, Crime, Police Shootings, Global Warming, and
China, so as to not upset whatever they think the fidelity might be. New
policies should re-emerge in which we do not negotiate with terrorists, and
moreover we do not succumb the fear of radicals. Global warming should also be reintroduced
in the national discussion as a gently reality, and never to isolate people for
not believing and/or not understanding. The ship was sailing towards smarts,
now it is sailing towards danger. Smarts isolated not just the ignorant, the
unsuspecting, the earnest, but also itself. Our society might
have to accept that being smart means solving issue the hard way. Educating
adults, who are not happy about the fact the stacks are against them for their
education. Finally politics should be introduced as a policy of a mainstream,
as something to latch on to, as something that entertains, but not cheaply.
Positivity came out of
the debates Tuesday, but then again the race is heating up and there is a
shortage of people who will be playing the role of well, the fool. One thing that is for certain, is that
playing to the hand of the enemy is what is drawing this war out. Chris
Christie hinted at Word War III upon morning on CBS. What such strategy is for
is be anyone’s guess. Then again, Trump’s been
winning on playing the enemies game as well, and he is not under the yoke of
sponsorship. Rand Paul could be a good
choice, yet most money bets him the loser and he is getting punched up quite
badly. The fact stands, however, that in the end, as always, it will be what
the citizens of this country want. The power rises with them and it falls with
them. Entrusting them with power is just another way of saying that freedom is
being respected.
